Doug Cakert

Vice President & Owner

Doug graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Management Information Systems. He went on to work with IBM as a Consultant in Washington, D.C. for several years. While with IBM, Doug attended the College for Financial Planning. He joined TC Financial in 2013, and shortly thereafter passed the Certified Financial Planning national exam. Doug earned the designation as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2015.

Thomas FX Cakert

President & Owner

Thomas FX Cakert (aka Buck) is the founder and President of TC Financial. Tom graduated St. Joseph’s College in 1969 with a BS degree in Management Marketing. After a 20 year career in commercial banking in various positions including Senior Vice President and head of the bank’s real estate division and President of a mortgage banking subsidiary, he formed TC Financial and became a Certified Financial Planner in 1995 and later added the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation.

 Tom was always active in the community coaching in local football and basketball programs, including a cultural exchange program with Puerto Rico that lasted over 30 years. He served two stints on the local school board including serving as president for over 5 years. Tom was also VP/Treasurer of Atlantic County Community College Foundation.

John Reed

Wealth Management Consultant

John joined T C Financial in 2013 after a 43 year career as a trust officer with various banking institutions in New Jersey with responsibility for managing the relationships of high net worth clients and coordinating the delivery of estate planning, retirement planning and trust and estate administration services to those clients. As a Wealth Management Consultant at TC Financial, John is responsible for managing client relationships and assisting clients and prospects on their wealth management needs.
